The story begins with the innocence and dreams of a beautiful young maiden, Mariana, whose simple life waiting tables and selling flowers does not prepare her for the evil exploitation that is about to unfold. Obsessed by her developing body and driven by greed, Mariana’s opportunist stepfather secretly makes a video recording of her playful sensuality, and through malicious editing, transforms the simple images into steamy sex scenes posted to the Internet for the sick enjoyment of paying customers. Mariana’s fantasies of a richer lifestyle are fueled by the constant appearance of handsome Sergio, who embodies everything she has ever dreamed of in a Prince Charming. When the deceitful stepfather attempts to take his vile plans for Mariana one step further by offering her sexual charms to a business associate, Sergio comes to the rescue.

Ashamed of her past and terrified to return to her home after her mother is arrested for the attempted murder of her stepfather, Mariana hides away inside Sergio’s huge home and becomes the phantom of the house. Now she is the “invader,” living in Sergio`s closet, observing him in secret and falling more deeply in love with him every day. Once discovered, events that will ultimately lead to Mariana’s triumphs, destruction and finally, resurrection, are put into motion.

Mariana and Sergio are, at last, together, and happiness is finally theirs, only to be snatched away by evil plotters whose poisonous lies sink Mariana to the depths of despair. All hope seems lost when Ana Victoria becomes the “ultimate” invader, pursuing Sergio not for love but to revenge the bad feelings harbored against his family.

Mariana’s world comes tumbling down, but her spirit will not be broken. Like the Phoenix, she rises from the ashes and ascends into fame, reclaiming her life, her love, and her never-ending dream that always reached beyond the stars.
